Fabio Wardley Reacts to Jarrell Miller Press Conference Chaos
On June 7 at Portman Road Football Ground, Ipswich, Fabio Wardley (18-0-1, 17 KOs) will face American Jarrell Miller (26-1-2, 22 KOs) for the WBA interim heavyweight title. The “Running Towards Adversity” press conference took place at Portman Road on April 7, with “Big Baby” wearing a Norwich City shirt, plus plenty of verbal sparring and a slap. Following this heated presser, Wardley spoke to “The Stomping Ground” about some of the events at the presser.

Wardley Unimpressed by Miller’s Behaviour
The heavyweight division continues to attract the most attention, and Queensberry Promotions recently announced the intriguing fight between Fabio Wardley and Jarrell Miller on June 7. The Ipswich fighter comes into this bout having eviscerated Frazer Clarke in his previous fight, with the two having fought to an entertaining draw before that.
“Big Baby” was seen as unlucky by many after drawing with Andy Ruiz — with some feeling he had done enough to earn the win. That result followed his late stoppage loss to Daniel Dubois.
Fabio Wardley Reacts to Drama
When talking to “The Stomping Ground” Wardley reflected on Miller wearing a Norwich shirt at the presser: “Has anyone showed him how well that worked out for my last opponent that wore a Norwich shirt to an Ipswich Town ground? It didn’t work out too well for them. That’s a bad omen in of itself.
“My advice to him would be leave that behind. Find a bin somewhere, put it in quickly. Swap it out, wear something else.”
After mimicking some of the insults he heard today, Wardley said: “Bro, like chill out. You’re not making any sense. No one cares what the fuck you’re saying, like you’re just waffling for the sake of waffling.
“If you’ve got something to say. If you got some real trash talk, then talk it. Have some substance, have something to say. Use your brain a bit.”
Wardley added: “Nothing he says, nothing he does is gonna faze me in the slightest.”
