Eddie Hearn names three international fighters set to break out in 2026

As 2025 ends strongly, with a number of intriguing fights still to come, fight cards are already being made or heavily rumoured for 2026. Looking ahead to next year, Eddie Hearn has spoken to Sports Direct and revealed three boxing prospects from his stable who are ready for a breakout year.

Eddie Hearn reveals three Matchroom Boxing prospects tipped for a breakout 2026

Matchroom Boxing and many of the big stables in the sports have a number of boxing prospects who have the potential to reach the pinnacle of the sport.

“Three names to break out from the sport. We got plenty to choose from. I’m going to go internationally.

“I’m going to go Taylor Bevan from Wales. Teremoana Teremoana, the big heavyweight sensation from Australia, and a man that could transform boxing in India, and therefore globally, Nishant Dev,” said Hearn.

Three rising Matchroom Boxing prospects poised for a breakout year

Taylor Bevan (6-0, 6 KOs) has taken to professional boxing perfectly so far. An accomplished amateur winning the silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Bevan has adapted brilliantly since signing with Matchroom.

He controls the distance well with his jab, while having fast hands and good footwork. He’s a come-forward fighter and carries plenty of power. The super middleweight division is richer for his inclusion. Bevan has huge support and looks set for a memorable 2026.

Teremoana Teremoana (8-0, 8 KOs) is a dangerous heavyweight who has been active since joining Matchroom, racking up impressive KO wins. He has fast hands and punches like a mule. He varies his angles effectively, which has seen him blitz his opposition so far.

While unproven at a high level, he will be back in action against German Garcia Montes on December 6. Another KO win will surely lead to a bigger fight and rapid progression for the 6′ 6″ Australian.

Transform boxing in India

The last name mentioned by Hearn, Nishant Dev (4-0, 2 KOs), is a talented Indian prospect who enjoyed a successful amateur career, winning a bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships. He has settled well into the professional ranks, winning all his fights.

Dev hasn’t lost a round so far, with two of his victories coming by stoppage. He uses his jab impressively, shows poise in the ring, and mixes his attacks well, appearing to have all the tools needed to progress.
