Knockout with Conor Benn – including Terence Crawford vs Manny Pacquiao
One of the most common conversations in the boxing world, is now about the boxing Mount Rushmore, or who the GOAT is. These conversations divide opinions but are always fascinating to hear, especially from fighters and retired boxers. Conor Benn recently spoke to Daily Mail Boxing, playing their knockout competition game. See if you agree with his choices.

The first hypothetical matchup for Conor Benn to pick his winner was Terence Crawford vs Manny Pacquiao. The popularity of Crawford and his recent success over Canelo Alvarez may have swayed others, but Benn selected Pacquiao.
Next up was Floyd Mayweather vs Sugar Ray Leonard. Both exceptional fighters and would undoubtedly split opinion on who would have won. Benn barely hesitated and selected Leonard.
The next fight for Benn to ponder was Tommy “Hitman” Hearns vs Oscar De La Hoya. The interviewer had barely finished saying De La Hoya, and Benn selected Hearns.
The final fight in the first round was Sugar Ray Robinson vs Pernell Whitaker. Benn, again, without hesitation, made his pick, selecting Robinson.
The next round – including Manny Pacquiao vs Sugar Ray Leonard
Moving on to the semifinals, it was Pacquiao vs Leonard that went first. For the first time, Benn hesitated, but he selected Sugar Ray Leonard.
In the other semifinal, it was Hearns vs Robinson, and Benn went with Robinson, meaning it was a final between Sugar Ray Leonard and Sugar Ray Robinson.
When asked who would win the final, Benn said with a smile, “Leonard,” crowning the legendary Sugar Ray Leonard as Conor Benn’s knockout winner.
Legacy
All the fighters Conor Benn had to choose from are legends and deserve their place in these types of discussions. It’s difficult to confidently disagree with any of Benn’s choices. Crawford vs Pacquiao was the only choice I disagreed with, but it’s difficult to argue with the winner.
Sugar Ray Leonard will forever be remembered as one of the greatest, and his place among the Four Kings (Leonard, Duran, Hagler and Hearns) ensures his legacy is secure.
