Conor Benn responds to Chris Eubank Jr’s contract claims for November 15 rematch
Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 is set for November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. the entire card will be promoted by Sela in association with Matchroom and Boxxer. Ring Magazine and Riyadh Season will sponsor the event.
Eubank Jr vs Benn 1 on April 26 was a clear comntender for fight of the year, with both throwing bombs until the final bell. Building up to the rematch, Benn has spoken to Regan Slaymaker for Boxing Social about Eubank’s recent comments, where he said the “final contract for this fight hasn’t actually even been fully agreed on.”

When speaking on “Inside The Ring,” Eubank discussed certain aspects of the rematch not being agreed upon:
“Yes, we agreed for a second fight before the first fight,” Eubank said. “But there are certain parts of the contract that are still up for negotiation. I’m not gonna go into what parts of those contracts they are, but we are in negotiations for certain things. So, it’s up to me and my team to get the best deal,” said a coy Eubank Jr.
When asked about Eubank’s (35-3, 25 KOs) comments, Benn quickly said: “Not my concern. I couldn’t care less. I don’t even know about it. I’m not even bothered.”
“He’s always had contractual issues; he’s always had promotional issues. He’s always had managerial issues. He’s always had issues in that department,” added Benn (23-1, 14 KOs).
“So, for me, it’s straightforward. I have my team deal with what they need to deal with. I get paid what I want to get paid. I pay what I wanna pay. That’s it.”
“You won’t ever hear me have no promotional, contractual issues with anybody. You won’t see me having problems with anybody, contractually,” said the 29-year-old.
