Turki Alalshikh continues to make some fascinating fight cards all over the globe and recently announced Devin Haney vs Brian Norman Jr and Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn 2 to headline two separate events. On June 30, Turki Alalshikh announced he would like to have unbeaten flyweight fighter Mikie Tallon (8-0, 1 KO) on the September 13 Canelo vs Crawford undercard.

Canelo vs Crawford Undercard: Mikie Tallon Endorsed

Canelo vs Crawford will headline a Zuffa/Riyadh Season card at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with the Undisputed super middleweight crown up for grabs. Alalshikh recently confirmed he is open to applicants for the Canelo vs Crawford undercard: And for that, I want to load the undercard with young, hungry fighters who deserve the chance to perform under the bright lights. These are some of the names I hope to see fighting in Las Vegas on Sept. 13, led by The Ring [118-pound] champion Junto [Nakatani]. If you are interested, you and your teams know how to find me.”

It appears His Excellency has now identified one fighter he wants to see on the card:I want to see this (photo of Mikie Tallon) fighter on the undercard of Canelo vs Crawford.”

Who is Mikie Tallon?

Following Alalshikh’s announcement that he wants to see Tallon, who is trained by Joe Gallagher, on the Canelo vs Crawford undercard, many were left wondering – who is Mikie Tallon?

Since making his debut on October 21, 2023, Tallon has made impressive progress up the flyweight rankings. Tallon is just the latest coming through at Joe Gallagher’s Champs Camp gym.

Tallon showed last time out that he carries plenty of power. He recorded his own stoppage in professional boxing against Jemsi Kibazange at the Greenbank Sports Academy in Liverpool. His next fight is due on July 11 at the Olympia against an opponent to be confirmed.

The Liverpudlian picks his shots well while mixing his attacks impressively. He’s accurate with his work and is adept at working the body of his opponents. At 20 years old, he has shown an abundance of talent thus far – and under the guidance of Joe Gallagher, with opportunities such as being on the Canelo vs Crawford undercard, the future is bright for the Champs Camp protégé.
