Looking ahead to his upcoming fight against Resendiz (15-2, 11 KOs), Plant said, “He’s tough, but tough ain’t enough.”
“I’m gonna go in there and do what I do. He’s gonna try his damnedest. But I’m gonna get the job done regardless. I’m gonna get my hand raised, and I plan on it being in fashion, but regardless of what happens, we’re gonna hear the words and still,” said Plant.

Plant Reveals ‘I’m Looking for the Biggest Tests’
Dan also asked Plant how much he wanted the Charlo fight, and Plant admitted: “I’m looking for the biggest tests. Munguia was busy with Bruno (Surace), Canelo was busy with (William) Scull. Edgar Berlanga is part of the witness protection program when it comes to me I guess, and I’ve been begging for that fight, asking for that fight and not much interest in it.

“So, this was like the fastest way for me to get to a big fight (Charlo) that I want. But Charlo needed a fight to get busy, get active and so I wanted it enough to say I’ll take one of those fights too, if you gotta get a fight to stay active, then I’ll stay active in the meantime and me and you can run it later in the year. This was the fastest way for me to get to one of those big fights, so I wanted it enough to do what I’m doing now,” added Plant.
