Boxing Schedule: Three Fights You Can’t Miss in July
2025 has provided plenty of great fights, with several intriguing bouts still to come and many rumoured matchups gaining plenty of traction. The rest of the boxing schedule looks promising. Here are three fights to look forward to for July.
Boxing Schedule: Three Fights to Look Forward to in July
Boxing Schedule: Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano – July 11
One of the standout fights in July will be the trilogy bout between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano (47-3-1, 31 KOs). The venue for the third fight will be Madison Square Garden, the venue of their historic first bout. Taylor (24-1, 6 KOs) leads 2-0, but there is still huge anticipation for the third fight, with a stacked undercard supporting them on July 11. It’s difficult to see anything other than an ultra-competitive close fight once again.
Edgar Berlanga vs Hamzah Sheeraz – July 12
One day after Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 3, Edgar Berlanga (23-1, 18 KOs) vs Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 KOs) will headline the Ring III at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens.
This should be a fascinating fight between two heavy-handed fighters. Berlanga will be eager to return to form following his loss to Canelo Alvarez in 2024. Sheeraz is coming off a controversial draw against Carlos Adames, with many feeling the Dominican fighter deserved the win. It will be a historic occasion at the Louis Armstrong, with a strong supporting undercard.
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois – July 19
All eyes will be on Wembley Stadium on July 19 as Oleksandr Usyk faces Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) in a rematch for the undisputed heavyweight crown. Their first meeting in 2023 ended with Usyk scoring a ninth-round KO, though Team Dubois claimed that a fifth-round body shot, ruled a low blow, should have counted, denying Dubois a legitimate win.
Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) dominated much of the first fight and deserved the victory. While Dubois has shown massive improvement in recent fights, it remains difficult to envision him toppling the undefeated Ukrainian. This will be the centre piece of the July boxing schedule.
