Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul – Conor McGregor weighs in on December 19
Paul has appeared confident since the bout was announced, and AJ recently spoke to TMZ Sports about people’s expectations he must KO Paul on December 19:
“I understand, I get it. I know the expectations and demands these fans have, and I respect it. If I didn’t respect it, I’d be honest with you and say ‘nah, they’re talking rubbish,’ but I do get it.”
“That’s my intention, to seek and destroy,” added Joshua.
When asked if Paul would be knocked out by Joshua, McGregor said: “If he makes that walk, you gotta give him his respect for that.
“It’s very dangerous. It seems like Netflix are all over him. It’s a dangerous sport. And you can’t overlook that. Joshua’s a big boy and a powerhouse. I’ve sat ringside and watched Joshua. That’s a heavy-punching man. He’s a happy, and he’s a good guy, but he has an anger in him.
“He has a darkness in him does Anthony Joshua. I don’t think a lot of people see that. The fight shouldn’t go ahead in my opinion. But if he does it, I’ll give him his respect for that,” said McGregor.
