Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul: Tommy Fury Savagely Weighs In
Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) dazzled at the 2012 Olympic Games, winning the Gold medal, before turning professional and establishing himself as a global phenomenon and two-time heavyweight champion. Joshua was brutally stopped last time out against Daniel Dubois, and in recent times, he’s been increasingly linked with a showdown against Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs). Tommy Fury, who defeated Paul back in 2023, has spoken to The Stomping Ground and savagely dismissed Paul’s chances should an Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul fight happen.

Tommy Fury Weighs in on Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul
Recently, Eddie Hearn spoke to The Stomping Ground about the Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul rumours: “To be honest, the focus is still very much on the Jake Paul fight. Those talks continue in an amicable and exciting fashion with MVP, and I think that’s definitely the favourite to happen next, I really do.”
Fury Dismisses Jake Paul’s Chances
It seemed impossible a mere few months ago that this fight could happen, but hearing Hearn talk about it being the main focus is honestly staggering when you look at the resume of AJ. It’s clearly a financially rewarding fight, should it happen, but Tommy Fury doesn’t believe there is any doubt who wins: “But if I can beat Jake Paul, then excuse my French, what the f**k is Anthony Joshua going to do to Jake Paul?
“I think my dad said AJ could beat him with his p***k and I completely will back that up. Even if AJ had a broken arm in there, it still wouldn’t go past a minute. To be quite honest with you, and as a safety aspect, there’s no way that fight can go ahead. At the end of the day, my god, how good does it make me look? If he gets beat by Jake Paul. Well, that automatically makes me two-time heavyweight champion of the world, don’t it?
“There’s no proper way. I’ve got to laugh about it. How are we even talking about this? He got his nut boxed off by me a little over two years ago, and now all of a sudden he’s talking about fighting Anthony Joshua. It’s like…come on, you can’t be serious. He can’t beat me, and I’m not Anthony Joshua, am I? So, it’s just ludicrous, it really is,” said Fury.
