Warren Discusses Anthony Joshua’s Path Back to a World Title

Dubois vs. AJ turned into a one-sided affair, with “Dynamite” snapping AJ’s head back with a power jab seconds into the fight. The Queensberry fighter stunned Wembley at the end of the first round, landing an overhand right flooring AJ.

The domination continued with Dubois using his jabs brilliantly and looking near a KO every time he threw a punch. Further knockdowns came in rounds three and four. “DDD” was hit with a massive right hand in round five that clearly wobbled him before landing a counter right hand that sent AJ crashing to the canvas with referee Marcus McDonnell issuing the count which AJ couldn’t beat, making Dubois the winner.

Warren Offers Candid Take on Joshua

When speaking about the heavyweight world title picture and who is in the mix, Warren offered his honest opinion on where Joshua stands in the heavyweight mix: “I’m going to say it how it is. AJs got a tough road back. He’s coming off a big loss,” said Warren.

He continued, “He’s not going to get a shot straight away at the world title. He’s got to get a win before he can fight for a world title. He didn’t lose a split decision. It wasn’t a close fight.”
