Jack Catterall vs. Harlem Eubank: Live Results Recap

Jack Catterall vs. Harlem Eubank Fight Recap

Jack Catterall (31-2, 13 KOs) got a technical decision victory over Harlem Eubank (21-1, 9 KOs) after an accidental clash of heads caused an early stop to their contest.

Scores at the time of stoppage were 69-65 and 69-66 (x2). Officially, the fight had been stopped one second into round seven. With the win, Catterall returns to the win column following his loss to Arnold Barboza Jr. earlier this year. The Chorley native will now look for other opportunities at welterweight.

The early rounds saw both men generally at range of each other. There was plenty of posturing between the two but very little landing. Catterall was winning rounds by simply being more active. He had success with straight punches in particular.

A clash of heads in round six opened a cut near the left eye of Eubank and by the right eye of Catterall. A physician examined both men at the beginning of round seven. Following the examination, the fight was ended and sent to the scorecards. The video below is essentially the only highlight of the entire fight.
